15.15 -15.20       Opening Remarks / Membership Update


15.20 – 16.00     Highly Effective People – 30 Years On

Mark Pawsey will be reviewing “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”, one of the most influential business books ever published. Mark will summarise the books key messages and consider whether they are still relevant thirty years on. Some of you will remember Mark from the early years of the group and we look forward to welcoming him back into the fold.


16.00 – 16.30     Strategic Decision Making

We all make decisions – all the time. In this session I will look at decision making models and how they can support us when making strategic decisions whilst bringing about change.


16.30 – 17.00     The Five Safes

“The Five Safes” is a framework developed by the Office of National Statistics and now used internationally to make data management decisions. Tim Ritchie will provide an overview and then consider its applicability in the wider context of change management. Tim is an ex colleague, ex client, ex entrepreneur, current project manager and occasional attendee at CityIQ events.
